Senior leaders across HR, Talent, and Workforce functions are under growing pressure to understand, evaluate, and lead AI initiatives – often without the time to commit to an extended programme. This bootcamp has been designed to give that grounding in a single day.
Where a short workshop might focus narrowly on one topic, this bootcamp is broader: a single day that connects the foundations of AI to the full landscape of its application across HR and workforce functions, leaving participants with a working map even where any one area is covered at a survey level.
The day is structured around the same frameworks used in The Workforce Leaders AI Agents Programme, providing a complete and standalone introduction, as well as a natural foundation for those who wish to continue into the full ten-week programme
Who is this for?
Senior leaders responsible for people, talent, or workforce decisions:

The bootcamp is designed for people who think strategically about work, no technical background is required.
Most AI courses fall into one of three traps.
This programme is none of those things.

The Day
Four sessions across the day, each building on the one before – from foundations through to a completed framework participants can take back into their organisation.
PART ONE - Foundations: What AI Is and How It Works
Clear definitions, accurate language, and a working mental model of how AI generates output – without the maths. Covers the major LLMs and tools shaping the market today, and what they are genuinely good at.PART TWO - The Classification Framework: Automation, Agents, and Copilots
The distinction that underpins everything else. Participants work through real scenarios to practise classifying tools and proposals and understand why the distinction matters for risk and governance.PART THREE - A Tour of the Landscape: AI Across HR and Workforce
Integrated scenarios spanning talent acquisition, workforce planning, HR operations, and learning and development – showing how the same classification and readiness thinking applies across every function, and where the common failure points sit.PART FOUR - Readiness and the Business Case
A practical introduction to the Readiness Stack and the Agent Brief – frameworks for qualifying any AI or agent use case and taking it to stakeholders. Participants apply both to a scenario relevant to their own context. The day concludes with a short, scenario-based assessment. Participants are given a brief use case, asked to classify it, and assess its readiness using the frameworks covered. The assessment is reviewed and graded, with a digital certificate of completion awarded to all participants.
